The Story
Located in the heart of the village of Puisseguin, the vines of Château Vieux Moulin Noir spread on a 13 hectares wide surface on the famous clayey -chalk plate of Saint Emilion. The vineyard is composed of the preferred grape varieties from Saint Emilion. The 30 years old vines are plated on clayey-chalk soils.
In the middle of the vineyards stands the chartreuse of the 19th century ; the stone walls allow its cellar to offer the optimal conditions for the breeding of a wine of excellence, a constant temperature around 13°C
This wine symbolizes the respect of the soil and the traditional methods of vinification: the yeasts are indigenous and the vinifications take place without added products as required by the specifications of the Organic Agriculture.
