The Story
Wine advisor since 2010, Christian Gourgourio became aware in 2007, a year marked by mildew, that it is possible to grow organic vines.
With this experience, he supports the winegrowers to help them change the standard and to have a different vision of their vineyard: a less phytosanitary, more global vision of the vine, its soil and its environment.
In 2014, he decides to dive into the winemaker’s adventure and acquired 3.57 hectares at Tauriac in Côtes de Bourg.
The vineyards are located on a hillside and enjoy generous sunshine thanks to a beautiful south/ south-east orientation. It was planted between 1961 and 1976, on old stone quarries, which participated in the construction of the city of Bordeaux.
The Wine
100% Merlot
Subtle and nuanced aromas.It is a wine with natural, round, fleshy, expressing a very fresh taste on a base of tannins fitting to its character.
