Grande Réserve

AOC Bergerac

The Story

Bergerac could be quoted as the OTHER appellation of the Aquitaine region. Quality standards in the region have risen dramatically over the past 20 years with investments made in both in vineyards and wineries where equipment is up to date. Grapes used for the Bergerac Grande Reserve wines were carefully selected by Grandissime wine experts Eric and Didier. Each parcel was individually vinified before a second selection took place just before blending. The wines are bottled young to capture in all the aromas and freshness of the wines.

The Wine

60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot

Light red colour, with aromas of red fruits developing on the nose such as raspberry, strawberry and cherry. Soft, round and well balanced with a good structure. Easy drinking wine, ideal on its own or with cured meats, grilled red meats or cheeses.

Grandissime Advice
